Our First Stop - Divine Finds

Business Name:

Divine Finds – our first stop in the Picacho Street Antique District is not only a divine antique shop but also a unique store with one-of-a-kind items inside as well as outside of the store. The store’s owner, Mr. J. Ray, previously operated an antique spot in Los Lunas, New Mexico, and is now operating an entire store in the heart of the antique district. His collections are organized by themes and include religious pieces, African-American memorabilia, music/videotapes, sheet music/books, New Mexican art pieces, Native American art and figures, and even vintage computers and toys.

As you walk through Divine Finds, you feel like you have stepped back in time. The antique store is extremely neat and inviting. Each display is full of treasures that you just have to ask about.

Digital Business Card:

Divine Finds is located at 1011 West Picacho, Las Cruces, NM. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The store is closed on Sundays.

Nature of Business:

Divine Finds is ALL about unique items that range from vintage to modern-day. One area of the store is filled with Las Cruces’ event posters created by the late artist Fred Chilton. Click here to read more about this local artist.

His brother, Warren Chilton, is featured in another section of the store. Mr. Chilton’s pieces include walking sticks, walking canes, and other pieces.

In yet another area of Divine Finds, Mr. Ray is working on setting up a display featuring Wild West memorabilia including saddles, horseshoes, leather goods, and similar items.

Divine Finds even has a collection of Coca-Cola items.

Quote from Owner:

"It's not about the money but more about each customer I meet every day. I love when customers come into Divine Finds and offer stories about their collections and what they like to shop for. I can be having a bad day and one customer can come in and lift my mood. All it takes is that one customer to make my day. I really love my customers."
