Welcome to Life In 'Cruces - On Location. Of course, my On Location RIGHT NOW is LAS CRUCES...I have my place and I am only working a few more days in ABQ before my Big Move Part II.
So what I'm crushing:
I've wrapped up moving all of my stuff out of Mission Hill
I changed my mind on trailing Baby Volvo down to Las Cruces – I am going to drive it down next Sunday instead
I got the NAM stores I wanted in Las Cruces – I am sooo excited
I am pushing the negative out of my mind and I'm going to focus on the positive in my life
I am on track to CRUSH goals I made last month!!

I am so excited ...all of the boxes and totes are in my Las Cruces storage. I am back in Albuquerque and wrapping up the last of the packing. I had an adventure in moving...but the hard part is done. I CRUSHED that!

Life In ‘Cruces'
Green Chile Peanut Butter Cookie
1 cup peanut butter
1 bag chocolate chips
½ lb green chile
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 can of chocolate frosting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and oil two cookie sheets. In a large bowl mix egg, peanut butter, chocolate chips, green chile, and brown sugar until a stiff dough forms. Roll the dough into small balls and place on cookie sheets. Flatten balls with a fork. Bake for 10 minutes; cool on a baking rack. Top each cookie with a dab of chocolate frosting.
Life In 'Cruces' Fancy Cocktail
2 bottles White Zinfandel – 750ml bottles
10 ice cups
Large punch bowl
3 cups strawberries – chopped
2 cups strawberry liqueur
To start, combine 2 bottles of White Zinfandel and 10 ice cubes in a large punch bowl. Stir the ingredients slowly for 4 minutes to cool the wine. Next, add chopped strawberries to the mixture. Resume stirring the cocktail and then blend in 2 cups of strawberry liqueur into the mixture. Keep stirring the mixture until well blended – about 5 minutes.
Serving: Serve this cocktail in fancy glasses and smile while you are drinking it.
